The findings in the study published on Wednesday are damning — but likely won’t surprise anyone who has been paying attention.

The new study commissioned by HHS, titled “Where the Clinic Meets the Movement: Does Gender Ideology Arm Left- Wing Authoritarian Psychology?,” is the latest addition to the genre of scientific literature confirming what the right already knew.

The research team behind the study included Joel Finkelstein, chief science officer and co-founder of the Network Contagion Research Institute; Lee Jussim, head of the Social Perception Laboratory at Rutgers University; and Colin Wright, an evolutionary biologist who serves as a fellow at the Manhattan Institute.

Together, they developed a “Clinical Gender Affirmation Scale,” measuring endorsement of five positions related to gender ideology.

When even labor unions are turning their back on the tide of radical socialist Democrats vying for office this midterm cycle, it’s getting bad.

On Wednesday, the New York chapter of the AFL-CIO — America’s largest labor union — issued its endorsements for November.

Noticeably absent from the candidates backed by the left-leaning organization were three leftist House candidates, two of whom were insurgents backed by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

The move comes as the socialist and progressive tide seems to be ebbing.

After huge primary wins for the far left in June and July, August brought only a narrow victory by heavily favored Abdul El-Sayed in the Michigan Senate primary and an embarrassing loss by Francesca Hong, up by double-digits in the polls, in the Wisconsin gubernatorial primary.

Only state Rep. Angie Nixon’s victory in the Florida senatorial primary provided any semblance of an upset win — and even that came at the cost of potentially putting the seat into play, with the victory making it almost certain that Republican interim Sen. Ashley Moody would win a full term.

In the Wednesday endorsements from the AFL-CIO, the New York Post reported, three House candidates that have been embraced by the far left — Darializa Avila Chevalier, Brad Lander, and Laura Gillen — were snubbed by the labor group.

Wisconsin is now finding out that when you’re dealing with modern Democrats, oftentimes there simply are no sane candidates.

Rep. Francesca Hong (WI-76), the “old white people” hating socialist, was widely expected to win the Badger State Democratic gubernatorial primary, but in a neck-and-neck finish earlier this August, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley pulled out the win.

Good news, right? Sanity prevailed, and the more “moderate” candidate was chosen. Except, not so much. Turns out Crowley is a far-left extremist too, just maybe slightly less so than Hong.

Meanwhile, Crowley has also shared ground with Hong on taxing millionaires and ambitious carbon-neutrality goals.

“Milwaukee County is known for its beer and brats, but unfortunately it’s also the epicenter of David Crowley’s budgetary boondoggles. Under Crowley’s failed leadership, residents received their largest property tax hike in 15 years, paid higher sales taxes for everyday purchases, and saw millions of their hard-earned tax dollars set up to finance Crowley’s Green New Deal ‘Net Zero’ scam for the county,” Wisconsin native and Republican consultant Mark Bednar told Fox News Digital.

“Frightening” is perhaps a word used too often by people on both sides of the political aisle when reacting to polls that seem to capture a momentous societal change. But when Dennis Prager is the one giving the warning, I listen carefully.

In a discussion with PragerU Executive Director Allen Estrin, Prager broke down a new CBS News/YouGov poll showing that 58% of Democrats view socialism favorably, while only 32% favor capitalism. This is a subject about which Prager, whose field of study in graduate school was communism, is qualified to speak. But who cares about that credential when “socialism, much less democratic socialism, is not communism,” as CNN Chief White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins has said, right?

Prager wasted little time dispelling that argument with a brief history lesson:

The record of socialism in terms of human suffering, human death, human enslavement is the worst record in recorded history. In one—I won’t even say a century—inside of about 50 years, 100 million, 100 million people were murdered by socialists, by socialist/communist regimes. China, USSR, Cambodia, Vietnam—basically everywhere that socialists took over. Remember, the name of the Soviet Union was the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. That’s very important.
