Anderson specified what this looks like in practice. “In kindergarten, children learn to identify ‘at least three body parts of the female, namely the nipples, vulva and anus,’ along with identifying the “nipples, penis and anus” for the male anatomy. But this explicit language — foisted on young children without parental consent — is not all. The accompanying pictures are worth a thousand words.

Kirk had founded the group to promote conservatism on campuses around the country and was speaking in front of a crowd of more than 2,000 in the courtyard when he was struck and killed by a single bullet.

Robinson’s defense argued in Tuesday’s filing that prosecutors didn’t establish probable cause concerning the aggravating factor — that the shooting created a high probability of death to someone other than Kirk and that Robinson knew of that “high probability.”

Without the aggravator, the potential death penalty would be taken off the table.

The relationship between those lovable mutts and their people is like nothing else; there is no other domesticated animal that associates with us not by our choice, but theirs, the way dogs do. They are faithful companions, loyal helpers and guardians, and they love us without reservation. Whenever anyone proclaims “you can’t buy love,” it’s a safe bet they’ve never had a puppy.

In some cultures, though, our traditional love for Canis lupus familiaris isn’t shared. Which brings us to the current Democrat candidate for a Michigan Senate seat, Abdul El-Sayed, and his tenure as Detroit’s health director. During this stint, El-Sayed was responsible for, among other things, Detroit’s animal control department, and his handling of that department prompted an employee to describe it as a “dog slaughterhouse.”

El-Sayed’s campaign, of course, is touting a significant improvement in the shelter’s live-release rate.

Detroit Animal Care and Control’s (DACC) live-release rate was roughly 20% to 26% when El-Sayed inherited the operation in late 2015 but climbed to about 61% to 62% by late 2016 — an improvement his campaign points to in arguing that the raw number of animals euthanized during his tenure obscures a turnaround from the dire conditions and euthanasia rates he inherited. The Daily Mail reported that records covering the period surrounding El-Sayed’s tenure showed 4,680 dogs and cats were euthanized, with 1,056 dogs and 29 cats getting euthanized in the first full calendar year DACC was under El-Sayed’s Health Department.

As the WNBA tries to fathom what the “W” in their own name stands for, its own past statements on social media are revealing the entity’s biases against their own athletes.

The league was dropped into the middle of the debate over whether men should take away athletic opportunities for women when Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham said it was unfair for males to compete against females. A counter-attack erupted within the league as coaches and players fired back by spewing the liberal orthodoxy that mediocre transgender athletes need a place to win awards.

The WNBA’s 2026 collective bargaining agreement says, “only players who are women are eligible to play in the WNBA.”

But there is no definition of women in the policy, and the issue of men playing in the WNBA by saying they identify as female is not discussed.

The WNBA was not allowed to simply let the issue fade after two former male NBA players said they want to be selected in the 2027 draft given the lack of any barriers in the league’s rules.

Buffeted by the winds of controversy, the league sought refuge in the traditional remedies of meetings, task forces, and PR statements.
