The roommate of alleged killer Tyler Robinson, who is accused of assassinating iconic conservative activist Charlie Kirk, “hates conservatives and Christians,” one of his relatives told Fox News.

Lance Twiggs, the 22-year-old romantic partner of Robinson’s, has not been charged in connection with the crime. Federal investigators have described him as a “person of interest” who has been cooperative with the investigation, however.

He is said to be in the process of “transitioning” from male to female.

According to a female relative who spoke with Fox News on the condition of anonymity, Twiggs began to “act differently” when he turned 18, at which point he developed a hatred of Christians.

Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of assassinating conservative activist Charlie Kirk during a campus event last week, is being held under “special watch” as officials carry out a mental health evaluation, authorities said Sunday.Robinson, who was taken into custody after a 33-hour manhunt, will remain in the Utah County sheriff’s department’s special housing unit “so that authorities can keep a close eye on him” until the evaluation is complete, the department said in a statement. The process could take several days.Once cleared, Robinson will move into the jail’s standard classification process to determine his permanent housing. “He will continue to be monitored by mental, medical, and custody staff throughout the duration of his stay,” the department added.Officials noted that “special watch” status is commonly applied for several reasons, including the nature of the crime, violent or erratic behaviour, and suicidal threats made during or after arrest. Authorities confirmed they were specifically alerted to suicidal comments or concerns regarding Robinson.

Arrest followed family intervention

Robinson allegedly opened fire on Kirk, 31, during a Turning Point USA event on Wednesday at Utah Valley University, killing the married father of two young children in front of an audience. The suspect’s arrest came after his father recognised him in FBI surveillance footage released during the manhunt. According to a law enforcement source cited by Fox News Digital, Robinson returned to his father’s home and said he wanted to kill himself. His father later consulted a minister before turning him in to the authorities.

Governor: Suspect not cooperating

Utah governor Brian Cox said Sunday that Robinson has so far refused to cooperate with investigators.“He has not confessed to authorities. He is not cooperating, but all the people around him are cooperating. And I think that’s very important,” Cox told ABC News. The governor added that Robinson’s family members and his romantic partner, a man transitioning from male to female, are assisting investigators. He also noted that those close to the 22-year-old described him as being “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology.”

Tyler Robinson, accused of killing conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, appeared to have a fixation on the “furry” subculture, according to social media activity. An account on the website FurAffinity.net, known for sexualised cartoon animal characters, matched a username Robinson reportedly used on gaming and online platforms, friends told the Daily Mail.Investigators also discovered a cartridge believed to belong to the murder weapon inscribed with the phrase, “Notices, bulges, OwO what’s this?” — a line associated with a popular furry meme.

Boyfriend Lance Twiggs’ online activity

Robinson’s 22-year-old roommate and romantic partner, Lance Twiggs, is an aspiring professional gamer who is transitioning from male to female. In a 2022 Reddit post, Twiggs wrote, “We are riding with Biden on this glorious subreddit.” The comment appeared on a satirical thread that also included the remark, “One day Jeb will be president and America will fully reform into a utopia.”In another post, Twiggs noted, “I have been getting recommended treatments for schizophrenia, bpd, and a brain tumor recently by my social media advertisements. this meme is perfect, thanks.”

Twiggs cooperating with investigators

Law enforcement sources told Axios that Twiggs was “aghast” after learning of Robinson’s alleged crimes and has been “extremely cooperative” with authorities.“It’s pretty clear that Robinson’s roommate knew a lot and didn’t say anything after the killing, so they’re a person of interest officially and are cooperating. We want to keep it that way,” one official said.Twiggs reportedly told investigators, “That’s what happened? Oh my God, no. Here are all the messages,” before handing over Robinson’s online communications.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Sunday criticized Rep. Ilhan Omar’s comments in the wake of the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk.

Omar, who said she was “mortified” at Kirk’s murder in an interview with Zeteo’s Mehdi Hasan on Thursday, called conservatives who blamed the left for the shooting “full of s—.”

“She clearly has no idea what she’s talking about,” Johnson told Shannon Bream on “Fox News Sunday.” “She has not followed Charlie. She’s playing into this characterization of him that the left has been advancing.”

Kirk, 31, was shot and killed during an event on the campus of Utah Valley University on Wednesday. The alleged gunman, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, was taken into custody by the FBI on Thursday evening.

The slaying was condemned by lawmakers across the political spectrum, with many noting the recent wave of political violence in the United States. Omar herself spoke of the “trauma” that assassinations of political figures can have on loved ones.

“It was really mortifying to hear the news, to see the video,” the Minnesota congresswoman told Zeteo. “All I could think about was his wife, his children — that image is going to live forever.”

Omar, however, pushed back on Republican lawmakers who have pointed fingers at left-wing rhetoric in assigning blame for the shooting. The 42-year-old also expressed concerns about her security.

“And, you know, you have people like Trump, who has incited violence against people like me,” Omar said, noting the president’s 2019 comments that she should leave the United States and return to her home country of Somalia. “And so, you know, these people are full of s‑‑‑, and it’s important for us to call them out while we feel anger and sadness.”

MAHA takes on Big Pharma to restore trust in American health– www.theblaze.com

… Now, a growing number of Americans are speaking out decisively against the quartet of Big Pharma, Big Ag, Big Food, and Big Health. This coalition of “Make America Healthy Again” voters is targeting a crisis of institutional credibility and a growing unease with an industry that is no longer trusted and seems more focused on profits than on people’s health.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I see these problems firsthand. With the MAHA coalition powering Republican victories up and down the ballot, we as Republicans have a generational opportunity to take back our health system. We can make changes and save American lives, but we need to agree on the problems to start.

More than two-thirds of all Missouri adults are overweight. Synthetic opioid overdoses claimed nearly 850 lives last year, with local St. Louis and St. Charles Counties ranking at or near the worst in the state. And should we forget the COVID mandates that caused overdoses to spike, caused childhood anxiety and depression to rise, and kept healthy toddlers in masks? Such measures stunted their development for years, as dissenting scientists and members of the public were told to “trust the experts” and shut up.

Dismissing people is the quickest way to continue to diminish what little trust remains. In my practice, I encounter this lack of trust in our medical establishment every day with my patients. After years of being told to trust “the science” — meaning “don’t question us” — many people no longer trust anything the medical establishment has to say.

Qatar Violated UN Security Council Resolution on Harboring Terrorists– www.breitbart.com

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended his country’s recent airstrike on Hamas terrorists in Qatar, saying Monday that the Gulf state was in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1373.

That resolution, passed in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, bars countries from harboring terrorists, and implies that other states have a right to self-defense against terrorists that are being sheltered by other nations.

Standing alongside U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio at a press conference in Jerusalem, Netanyahu fielded a question about the airstrike, after Rubio was asked how the U.S. could assuage its Gulf allies.

He said:

There’s immense cynicism and hypocrisy in the condemnation of Israel. After 9/11, the Security Council of the United Nations passed Resolution 1373, and that resolution said that states must not harbor, or give safe haven, finance, plan, or allow such actions for terrorists. It didn’t say some actions in this part of the world, or some nations cannot do it in this part of the world, but they can do it in another part of the world. And, of course, the United States acted very boldly against the terrorist havens that were given to al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, he terrorist haven that was given to the chief terrorist, [Osama] bin Laden in Pakistan. Those countries that are condemning Israel today did not come and say, “Well, what a terrible thing was done. The sovereignty of Pakistan was violated. The sovereignty of Afghanistan was violated.” You don’t have such sovereignty when you are effectively giving a base to terrorists in a place where they can ply their gruesome trade. So it’s the right of every country under international law to defend itself beyond its borders against those who would kill their citizens, murder them, en masse. That is what guided Israel.

The killing of a Ukrainian refugee in North Carolina has exposed a fault line between President Trump and his MAGA base seeking justice and the state’s outgoing Republican senator.

U.S. Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) is appealing to Trump not to pursue a federal takeover of Charlotte after a national outcry over the killing of 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska on a late-night train. A mentally ill man with a long history of convictions and arrests has been charged with her homicide.

The deadly assault fits a pattern of urban violence that the Trump administration has cited in assuming control of Washington, D.C., for 30 days, sending in the National Guard, FBI agents, and other federal authorities to restore law and order on streets that Trump deemed lawless. Tillis was apparently fearful that Trump would begin to call for federal intervention in North Carolina.

Tillis told Fox News that there were “a lot of cities that we should be going to before Charlotte.”

“And I, for one, don’t think that we should be the nation’s police force, because, you know what happens? We’re going to mask the failure of Democrat leaders that are making their cities less safe,” Tillis said. “But we also have to be realistic and see that there are some cities and red states that are also in the top 20 list.”

“All I’m saying is we’ve got an issue, and I’m down there working before it became a national thing, work that we need to do down there to fix basically the free ride of the subway there,” he continued. “But it doesn’t rise to a level of national intervention. I think that’d be an overreach that I’m against, generally.”

LONDON — Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Monday condemned “dangerous” comments by Elon Musk after the X and Tesla owner told an anti-immigration rally that violence is coming to Britain and they must fight or die. But the U.K. government resisted opposition calls to sanction Musk for the remarks.

Starmer denounced violence on the fringes of Saturday’s 100,000 or more-strong “Unite the Kingdom” demonstration in London organized by far-right campaigner Tommy Robinson.

Police said 26 officers were injured, four seriously, as a minority among the protesters tried to breach lines separating them from a smaller anti-racist counter-demonstration. There were 25 people arrested at the event and the Metropolitan Police said more arrests would follow.

Addressing the demonstration by video link, Musk called for the dissolution of Parliament and an early election to remove Starmer’s center-left government. He told protesters “violence is coming to you” and “you either fight back or you die.”

Starmer’s spokesman, Dave Pares, said he didn’t think “the British public will have any truck with that kind of language.

“The U.K. is a fair, tolerant and decent country, so the last thing that British people want is dangerous and inflammatory language which threatens violence and intimidation on our streets,” he said.

Ed Davey, leader of the Liberal Democrats, the third-largest party in Britain’s Parliament, urged Starmer, Conservative opposition leader Kemi Badenoch and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage to join him in condemning Musk’s attempt “to sow discord and incite violence on our streets” and interfere with British democracy.

The United States, South Korea and Japan opened an air and naval exercise off a South Korean island Monday in their latest joint drill condemned by North Korea as a “reckless show of strength.”

The exercise called Freedom Edge is aimed at strengthening the countries’ combined operational capabilities in the sea, air and cyberspace and is necessary to counter North Korea’s growing nuclear and missile threats, South Korea’s Defense Ministry said.

The U.S. Indo-Pacific Command said the exercise will include U.S. Marine and Air Force aerial assets and feature enhanced ballistic-missile and air-defense drills, medical evacuations and maritime operations training, making it “the most advanced demonstration of trilateral defense cooperation to date.”

The exercise off South Korea’s southern Jeju Island runs through Friday.

The powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un earlier condemned the drills in state media, saying they show the countries’ confrontational stance toward the North.

“The reckless show of strength made by them in real action in the vicinity of the DPRK, which is the wrong place, will inevitably bring bad results to themselves,” Kim Yo Jong said, using the initials of North Korea’s formal name, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Zohran Mamdani Vows to Arrest Benjamin Netanyahu – PJ Media– pjmedia.com

When most people think of mayoral campaign promises, they picture fixing potholes, improving schools, or reducing crime. But Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Socialist nominee for New York City mayor, is vowing to have the NYPD arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should he dare show his face in the Big Apple.

This isn’t your typical political grandstanding. Mamdani wants to honor an International Criminal Court arrest warrant targeting Netanyahu for alleged war crimes in Gaza, stemming from the ongoing war that erupted after Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel. The socialist firebrand claims that Netanyahu is committing genocide and insists New York must “stand up for international law,” where the federal government supposedly hasn’t.

The practical implications are staggering. If Mamdani were serious about this crusade, Netanyahu couldn’t address the United Nations while Mamdani was mayor. The leader of one of America’s closest allies would be effectively banned from speaking at the UN headquarters because New York’s mayor decided to play international prosecutor.

There’s just one tiny problem with this plan: it’s completely bonkers from a legal standpoint.

The United States isn’t even a member of the ICC and doesn’t recognize its authority. Legal experts are having a field day pointing out that arresting Netanyahu would be practically impossible and could violate federal law. Matthew Waxman, a Columbia Law School professor, called this “more a political stunt than a serious law-enforcement policy.” He’s right: This isn’t even close to being legally feasible.

Western ‘security guarantees’ for Ukraine could end up being hollow, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has warned, arguing that Kiev’s backers have so far shown no willingness to go to war with Russia if the conflict flares up again after a potential ceasefire.

Western capitals have for months debated over the commitments that could accompany a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. According to media reports, leaders in France and the UK have floated proposals for a ‘reassurance force’ on the ground far from the front line, as well as aerial assets to help monitor the ceasefire.

A number of other EU states have pushed back against sending troops to Ukraine, proposing instead to focus on other types of support. US President Donald Trump has also ruled out sending ground troops to Ukraine, but said America could contribute in other ways.

FBI and Utah Department of Public Safety officials held a news conference in Orem after the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University.

Kirk was assassinated on Wednesday while speaking to students at Utah Valley University.

Officials provide new details on the suspect search and investigation.

According to a local investigator, officials tracked the killer from an hour before the shooting until he jumped off the campus building and fled into a nearby neighborhood.

According to Utah official Beau Mason:

Through all that work last night, we were able to make a few breakthroughs. We were able to track the movements of the shooter.

Starting at 11: 52 AM, the subject arrived on campus, shortly away from campus. We have tracked his movements onto the campus, through the stairwells, up to the roof, across the roof to a shooting location.

After the shooting, we were able to track his movements as he moved to the other side of the building, jumped off of the building and fled off of the campus and into a neighborhood. Our investigators have worked through those neighborhoods, contacting anybody they can with doorbell cameras, witnesses, and have thoroughly worked through those communities, trying to identify any leads.

We do have good video footage of this individual. We are not going to release that at this time. We are working through some technologies and some ways to identify this individual. If we are unsuccessful, we will reach out to you as the media and we will push that publicly to help us identify them.

But we are confident in our abilities right now, and we would like to move forward in a manner that keeps everyone safe and moves this process appropriately.

FBI official Robert Bohls then spoke, saying they have good footage of the killer and that they also found his rifle in the woods.

The killer appears to be college-aged.

The Democrat Party Is A Domestic Terrorist Organization– thefederalist.com

After a long history of condoning, advocating, and participating in political violence, it is time to designate the Democrat Party a domestic terrorist organization.

Decades of extreme language, calling conservatives “Nazis,” claiming existential threats are around the corner in order to feed an assassination culture, and justifying the aftermath has brought a level of violence that is only one-sided: The left tries to murder or maim their political enemies.

On Wednesday afternoon, a shooter took the life of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, just as he was answering a question about left-wing violence in the United States.

Left-wing commentators at corporate media outlets — the mouthpieces of the Democrat Party — were quick to justify the violence, suggesting it was justified or that Kirk brought it on himself, even going as far as to suggest it was really a Trump supporter firing a gun in “celebration.”

Democrats have a long history of calling conservatives the most vile things our culture can think of, and their friends in the media spread the message to anyone who watches them.

Democrats have recently been saying they “cannot be the only party that plays by the rules anymore.”

Just yesterday, Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., said in an interview, “Our only opportunity, our only chance to save our democracy, is to fight fire with fire.”

Murphy brushed off “the fact that we’re blowing up norms,” adding that if you spend any more than “two seconds … being sorry for the fact that the old world doesn’t exist, then your democracy is gone.”

Argentine President Javier Milei issued a statement on Wednesday honoring the life of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, killed on Wednesday afternoon by an unknown gunman during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University.

Milei, who met Kirk during a visit to Florida shortly after his election to the presidency, praised Kirk as a “formidable spreader of the ideas of liberty and staunch defender of the West.” He also emphasized the relationship between left-wing ideologies and rampant violence in his statement.

“He was the victim of an atrocious assassination in the middle of a wave of left-wing political violence in the entire region,” Milei wrote. “The left is always, at all times and in all places, a violent, hate-filled phenomenon. The whole world lost an incredible human being.”

Milei’s statement, accompanied by a photo of the Argentine president alongside Kirk and former Congressman Matt Gaetz, expressed condolences to the Kirk family “and to all the youth of the world who admired and listened to him.”

Milei’s reference to a “wave of left-wing political violence” appears to be contextualizing the public assassination of Kirk following several high-profile killings of popular conservatives in the Western Hemisphere. In June, a child gunman killed the frontrunner in the 2026 Colombian presidential election, Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay, who remained alive in intensive care for two months before his death was announced in August. Prior to the Uribe assassination, another presidential frontrunner, former journalist Fernando Villavencio in Ecuador, was assassinated publicly during a campaign rally in 2023. Both candidates were aggressive opponents of communist terrorism, Marxist narco-terrorists, and gang violence. While these two cases are the most high-profile in recent memory, conservative political figures throughout South America have experienced direct political violence throughout the past year, most aggressively in Colombia under the presidency of socialist former guerrilla member Gustavo Petro.

Retired FBI agent Stuart Kaplan provided a chilling analysis of the assassination of prominent conservative activist Charlie Kirk in which he stated that the killing had the makings of a “professional hit.”

Kirk was shot around noon local time at Utah Valley University and was pronounced dead a little over an hour later. He was shot by a single bullet midway through the question-and-answer period and immediately transported to a local hospital, though he was unable to survive the massive loss of blood.

Investigators believe Kirk was shot from a nearby rooftop, though CNN has reported that investigators were unable to recover a weapon from the area. As of 1:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, September 11, the gunman is still at-large.

While speaking with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Kaplan shared his analysis on the assassination and the ongoing manhunt to locate the shooter.

I think this assassination, different than the assassinated attempt back in Butler, Pennsylvania, was a very well-planned, very well-orchestrated plot that was put in motion days before,” the retired FBI special agent speculated. “And this individual had a plan of escape to elude detection of being out up on a rooftop and also being able to evade and elude law enforcement after that shot was taken.”

Kaplan compared the Kirk assassination with the attempt on President Donald Trump’s life in Pennsylvania last month, specifically noting that the gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was seen entering and later leaving the venue before taking the shot. Crooks’ presence was noted by Secret Service counter-snipers, who took a photo but later lost track of him.

As soon as the news that Charlie Kirk had been shot hit, the day immediately became a surreal blur of fast-moving information that felt like it was happening in a slow-motion nightmare. I didn’t know Charlie — he came to prominence just as my many years of activism were winding down. I have been aware for a long time of the great work that Turning Point USA does, however. I know a lot of younger people who have been politically energized by TPUSA and who had a lot of respect and affection for Kirk.

People I know who don’t pay a lot of attention to politics were devastated and glued to the news. My private messages, texts, and phone calls featured a lot of monosyllabic expletive-laden expressions of shock and outrage. Two friends offered variations on “this feels different.” That was echoed in other conversations. My good friend Kira Davis posted this on X:

So wrote Vice President J.D. Vance in a post on X as he reached back into his years of friendship with conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was gunned down in Utah on Wednesday while trying to pass on the fire of conservatism to a new generation.

Vance initially offered a prayer when news of Kirk’s death broke, writing on X, “Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord.”

Later, he reflected on the long journey he made from the edges of politics to its core, walking with Kirk every step of the way.

“A while ago, probably in 2017, I appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox show to talk about God knows what. Afterwards a name I barely knew sent me a DM on twitter and told me I did a great job. It was Charlie Kirk, and that moment of kindness began a friendship that lasted until today,” Vance wrote.

“Charlie was fascinated by ideas and always willing to learn and change his mind. Like me, he was skeptical of Donald Trump in 2016. Like me, he came to see President Trump as the only figure capable of moving American politics away from the globalism that had dominated for our entire lives,” he wrote.
