Dr. Anthony Fauci, architect of the coronavirus lockdowns, was behind attempts to discredit Trump administration officials during the pandemic, feeding questions to CNN propagandist Jake Tapper, according to Fauci’s newly released diary.

In a July 26, 2020, entry, Fauci wrote of then-Assistant Secretary for Health Brett Giroir that Giroir was “on Tapper (State of the Union) talking bullsh-t about testing with Jake pressing him. I gave Jake some questions to ask him.”

Tapper and Fauci apparently became close friends, having dinners together at each others’ homes, something Fauci referred to as “friendship building.” While Fauci was able yuck it up with the D.C. elite, he pushed policies that would not allow family to be with their dying loved ones during their last moments alive.

The two would text each other, and on July 26, 2020, Fauci said “Jake Tapper woke me up at 11:23 AM (I went to bed early) furius[sic] at POTUS for tweeting about the fact that Jake severely questioned Brett Giroir on SOTU CNN show day. Jake was really pissed at the craziness of it all.”

Those narcissistic entries about his towering fame reminded me of local children who were barred from attending high school with their friends, couldn’t have proper graduations, or start college on time, many of whose lives were needlessly thrown off course forever.

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul’s document dump of the diary entries and emails of former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases accentuates what we already knew about Fauci. Though his fans portrayed him as a saintly public health official merely sharing advice and evolving science with decision-makers, Fauci was a self-serving authoritarian operator who relied on fearmongering, coaxing, and lying to manipulate the behavior of hundreds of millions of Americans.

On Feb. 8, 2020, for example, Fauci acknowledged privately that after speaking with former CDC Director Tom Frieden, he believed COVID’s fatality rate was likely at 0.2-0.3% not 2%, and “acting like a bad influenza.”

A pulmonary infarction occurs when part of the lung tissue dies because blood flow through the pulmonary arteries is blocked, usually by a blood clot originating from a deep vein thrombosis, that travels to the lungs, causing a pulmonary embolism.

This information was made public for the first time through the release of Fauci’s private diary entries.

Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rand Paul (R-Ky.) released Fauci’s private diary entries over the weekend, allowing the public to scrutinize his day-to-day activities during the early days of the COVID-19 crisis. The bombshell diary entries reveal his arrogance, duplicity and preoccupation with fame and adoration as infections rose.

During an appearance on Fox New’s “Ingraham Angle” Monday night, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. commented on the new revelation about Fauci’s June 2021 medical emergency.

However, that changed Wednesday morning with stories explaining away his behavior ahead of what became an explosive Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing.

ABC’s Good Morning America only mustered a partial segment tallying 89 seconds, starting with co-host Robin Roberts announcing Fauci was “set to testify on Capitol Hill” for “a grilling by longtime critic Senator Rand Paul over his role in handling the COVID pandemic.”

D.C.-based correspondent Jay O’Brien also said it’d “be a fiery hearing” with Paul going after “Fauci, 85-years-old, once the nation’s top infectious disease expert who retired in 2022.”

He added Paul has “accused Fauci of everything from misleading the COVID — mishandling the COVID response, to misleading the public about COVID’s origins, to even lying to Congress, all of which Fauci strenuously denies” with his attorney calling Paul’s behavior a “years-long public crusade.”

Incredibly, O’Brien seemed to cast doubt on the veracity of the diaries: “Ahead of this hearing, Paul releasing more than one thousand pages worth of what he says are diary excerpts that Fauci wrote in the early days of the pandemic.”

The Counterlawfare Institute obtained a previously undisclosed June 8, 2025, memo laying out a blueprint for the Department of Justice to investigate Anthony Fauci and the National Institutes of Health’s contributions toward the influential “Proximal Origin” scientific paper that argued the Covid-19 virus originated from nature, not a lab.

The memorandum was written by Michael Caputo, a former senior Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) official who later served as an adviser in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, and addressed to Ed Martin, then director of the Department of Justice’s Weaponization Working Group. It later emerged that Caputo was under secret federal surveillance at the time.

In the memo, Caputo encourages the DOJ to investigate whether federal officials misled U.S. intelligence and directed millions of taxpayer dollars to scientists who “falsely distracted the public from government misconduct that lead to massive illness and deaths worldwide.”
